THE REVIEW

The keyword is: collaboration.

An open mind is primarily this. Mixing, incorporating, spitting on each other, blending, understanding each other, growing. But also telling together the life and death of a wasp.

Those who do not collaborate remain closed like an asshole. They remain drowned in their own shit.

The Nadja, besides being the most underrated group on Earth, are great companions who enjoy sharing their lysergic vibrations by creating loads of splits with artists of all kinds.

Finally, they run into an Italian project (but emigrated to Germany), the OvO by Bruno Dorella. That cheerful percussionist who enjoys creating the blues of oblivion with Bachi da Pietra and post-folk-jazz with Ronin. In OvO, along with Stefania Pedretti, he has fun touring the world offering jaw-breaking noise-drone, and the fusion of all these ideas turns into a highly experimental, indecipherable, unpredictable work. Enveloping as the dark.

The Canadians are monsters at creating mega sound serpents, and here Dorella and Pedretti add percussion and voice to make the story more real, Nadja's drum machine gives way to Dorella's touch, and Aidan Baker focuses on the sound while leaving Pedretti to "narrate".

A fusion that looks forward.

Sounds that go from yellow to black.

Bold in ideas!
