THE REVIEW

Mature album for the Roman band, dedicated to a pop/reggae veiled with electronics. "Combo," one of the best Italian albums of 2009, is a perfect blend of melody, communicativeness, and lightness.

Simple lyrics that manage to reach the heart, penetrate the soul, and accompany me in my reflective and solitary days. Refined arrangements and delightful vocal harmonies will captivate you from the first listen and will hardly leave you.

I will not dwell on describing all the tracks, each of them deserves to be listened to in order to be fully understood. A single mention for "Cupo": one of the most beautiful lyrics I have listened to recently:

"We are the product of our stories.. of our mistakes and our fears.. of nights standing up with us.. the essence of bad adventures.. of disappointments and betrayals.. of what you hoped for and never was.. of our ability to capture nuances.. of those that then fade away on their own.."
