The revelation of the year 2005 for myself. This duo, certainly not on their first album as I would soon discover, deliver the most shocking 45 minutes of these months to me.
With each listen, the desire to see them live grows, with each listen, the astonishment and admiration for these two acrobats of instrumental rock ignite. Imagine a cross between "Sheets of Easter" (about a quarter of an hour of overdrive by the fierce Oneida) and any track from the early Fantomas by Mike Patton, but without vocals. Mix it all together and extend for 45 breathless minutes. A terrific ride. Try it to believe it.
Recommended: for those who drive a good common rail in the open countryside, with the windows down to hear the love song of the leaves along the autumn avenues as you pass by. While the sun rolls a joint on the hill.
Not recommended: for those who divide rock by three (minutes per track).
