What can one expect from an album with such a title? Especially when the group that created it remains shrouded in a (toxic) cloud of anonymity?
I often distrust music that concentrates the potential audience’s attention on the visual and lexical impact. In this case, I decided to trust my intuition, listened to this half-hour of music (a highly euphemistic word) and after getting over the seasickness, I decided to keep you informed.
What genre is proposed by Orrokton? Industrial? Noise? Chaotic-Grind?... Anyone can have fun assigning definitions, one is as good as another, since the 4 tracks contained in "Clistere di Sangue" are a vortex of delirious, distorted noise, almost incomprehensible, that might have a purpose if used as a weapon of war, blasting them at immense volumes. In fact, on headphones or hi-fi systems, it is impossible to appreciate their devastating apocalyptic power. With adequate systems, they could be used to make buildings implode.
Are we at a new frontier of music, or is it yet another attempt to create extremism without substance?
Certainly, the album title (a debut, self-produced, released about a month ago, I believe) and the title of the fourth track: "Sangue nelle urine, urina nel sangue" will remain in the annals.
Deo Gratias.
