THE REVIEW

They may not have been the very first, but they are almost certainly the most representative, the most chaotic, the most disturbing, godfathers of Emo Violence and among the most sonically violent terrorists that mankind remembers.

Indecipherable screams, exploding guitars, oppression, violence, suffering, pain, blood.

Chaos.

The production entrusted to Kurt Ballou is rough, raw, violent.

"Le Desordre C'est Moi" is a statement of intent: "You won't get out of here alive." The tone remains at the same levels of intensity even later, and there arises a paradox of calm and chaotic moments, darker, more oppressive, even less reassuring than the previous abrasive chaos. "New Jersey Vs Valhalla." But it doesn't last long, the physical suffering starts again. One begins to give up.

"Epilogue a Car Crash" 18 minutes later. Debris, only debris left by the sudden passage of a hurricane devoid of the eye of the storm. By now, no one cares where you are. Dead? Missing? Here, we go on anyway.

"Chaos Is Me" was a definitive changing of the guard in the most violent and visceral music, the definitive fall of old and false myths.

The year was 1999, and nothing would ever be the same again.
