Here, my dear friends, we are not talking about an album but about a colorful summer postcard. It brings to mind carefree summer days spent, in my case, on lonely beaches with the family. Feelings now forgotten. Music that, deep down, creates a strange melancholy in me. Like certain faded photographs of family outings that punctually remind us of the passing time.
To fully appreciate this album, you just need to close your eyes and let your imagination run wild. You will find yourself in a soap bubble in total relaxation. In the middle of winter, the walls of your room will disappear, and you will find yourself in a sunny open space, by the lakeside, as suggested by the album cover. You might even take a nap, but not out of boredom, rather due to the inner peace this music creates.
Among aquatic interludes, sounds of the surrounding nature, and voices in the background, we find ourselves floating upon the notes of melancholy musical interludes that strongly remind one of the sweetest themes of certain soundtracks of Italian B Movies from the 60s and 70s.
We're talking about a psychedelic album. A relaxing psychedelic journey through nature and melancholy. The only instruction: close your eyes and let go.
For the record, the group is completely unknown to me. The album was recorded for the legendary "S.H.A.D.O. RECORDS", not new to such operations, in 2001.
In my opinion, a wonderful album.
Enjoy your trip
