Operation Ivy was an American ska-punk band from Berkeley, California, active from 1987 to 1989. They released the studio album Energy (1989) and the Hectic EP; their members later played roles in other notable punk projects.

Energy was released on Lookout! Records in 1989. Tim Armstrong and Matt Freeman, who played in Operation Ivy, later formed the band Rancid.
