Klaus Wiese

Klaus Wiese (1942–2009) was a German ambient and drone composer known for deeply meditative works centered on Tibetan singing bowls, tamboura, and harmonium. Associated with Popol Vuh in the early 1970s and influenced by extensive travels and Sufi studies, he released a vast catalog that became foundational for drone-ambient.
