Onmyo-Za is a Japanese heavy metal band formed in Osaka in 1999. They are known for combining classic heavy metal influences (compare Iron Maiden, Judas Priest) with Japanese folk and mythological themes. Singer Kuroneko (Akiko Kunimoto) is frequently highlighted in reviews.

Fuuin Kairan was released by King Records in 2002. Maō Taiten (2007) reached the 13th position on the Japanese charts and is noted in reviews as the band's best-selling album to date. Reviews state the band's last seven consecutive albums (at time of review) did not fall below the 13th position on Japanese charts.
