At the end of the screening, I wasn't sure if it was appropriate to laugh, often uproariously, at the ruthless existential vicissitudes of Philippe, an educated and wealthy quadriplegic (the excellent François Cluzet), who by sheer coincidence sees his grim fate intersect with a diversity less familiar to him, the social and generational one, personified by the infectious daredevil from the Parisian banlieues, Driss (the astonishing Omar Sy).
