THE REVIEW

"Out of the dust" is not a randomly chosen title; in fact, the album was born from the exhumation of some tapes that had been lying in the dust for 35 years.
It is a New Wave album, and by New Wave, we mean that musical period located in the early 80s.
The Oh Oh Art were a very active band on the Milanese scene, with several concerts to their credit.
Initially, the band was composed of 5 members: Roberto Cenci, Ermanno Cislaghi, Rank, Gianluca Foiani, and Nico Spinosa, but most of the tracks were recorded only by the last two, primarily in precarious circumstances.
"It's just a movie soundtrack" and "Wasting time" were recorded at the EMI Publishing studio, "So quiet" at Warner's studio and produced by Atelier Folie; all others were recorded almost live or in makeshift studios, except "Uno impiegato", the only track in Italian, requested by CGD who asked us to try in Italian.
Last year, "Cosmic disease" was included in the compilation "Milano after punk", a collection of tracks from the early 80s Milan New Wave, and the excellent reviews prompted the release of an album.
