The Nunwhore Commando 666 is a combo that includes some members of Gut, offering cyber grind gore, a cheerful (?) musical genre that takes the best/worst (your choice) of grindcore and death metal, mixes it with a drum machine, guttural voices and/or various gurgles, synthesizers, and lyrics in pure gore or porno gore barracks style (which never hurts and gives us more satisfaction). The work feels the influence of Gut from different perspectives: the 17 tracks have absurd titles such as "Anti-Virgin Machinegun Dildo", "45 Mm Sperm Shotgun Excess" to name a few, the vocals are an even more extreme version of those offered by Gut (!): ranging from the classic scream to toilet flush-style gurgles, also featuring joyful grunts (quite common for bands of the genre) and even the guitars bear the legacy of the aforementioned, both in sound and in the proposal offered. To complete the picture, we must add the synthesizers and the drum machine... the usual stuff, one might say for those already accustomed to the genre... but no! In fact, the tracks are different from each other and well distinguishable, with an alternation of frenetic parts to slower parts, the samples are not taken from porn films (another analogy with Gut, who never abused it) are more varied and used more creatively.
The rhythm section is nice with a drum machine that does not just blast at 1000 bpm but recalls more varied patterns, even dance. The synthesizers do their part well with sounds that, while not very original in the contexts from which they come, techno, gabber & co., blend well with the whole and give a touch of originality.  The production is more than decent  with low and powerful sounds that never descend into a magma and always remain distinct. An excellent CD with the quality of Playboy but with the content of Le Ore, therefore the best that can be asked of the market, despite the final loop that lasts several minutes and was not necessary.
