THE REVIEW

You are bastards. No Trigger, you are bastards. It’s been 6 years since that bomb "Canyoneer," one of the coolest albums in history, which obviously got 0.000001% of the attention it deserved. Really. I mean, 6 years! Can you believe it? 6 years of waiting (1 since I got to know these guys in February 2011). But 6 years for an album like this? Don’t you realize that an album like this should come out once a week? Oh! Who do you think you are to come back after 6 years with an album even cooler than its predecessor? One of the coolest Melodic Hardcore Punk, or rather Punk albums in general, ever?

Anyone who repudiates Melodic Hardcore because it’s not punk blah blah can go to hell (why something non-punk can’t be beautiful, go figure) and if you listen to it anyway, because Tycoon has an exceptional groove, even better than "Canyoneer," despite being perhaps less spontaneous, more technical and thoughtful but with a vigor that few albums have. What you find inside that round object with a hole in the middle, or on the files on your Mp3 player or iPod are not 12 tracks, it’s a dose of some incredibly powerful explosive, it’s not music, it’s pure energy, a type of energy that has neither form nor size nor consistency but is found in its natural state without being contaminated by other elements, a grenade to plug into headphones (an image deliberately recalling the cover of "Revolutions Per Minute" by Rise Against, another album with an unrivaled kick in the universe).

This is "Tycoon": intense, fast, and direct.

Unbelievable.
