Unique lineup for this group, which includes the former singer of FAR and two members of TEXAS IS THE REASON. After listening to the single Lukewarm, which impressed me very positively, I decided to buy the album: it's 2001.
As a genre, it can be defined as alternative rock; in reality, NEO follows the EMO trend that has produced many bands in America. The singer's voice is very particular, and he sings very passionately, sometimes hauntingly, and together with the guitars (simple but effective), made me appreciate the band in a special way. The best tracks: Lukewarm, Titanic, The Name, Leper Song, and especially 14-41.
Finally, I would say it's a very good alternative rock album, with more intimate and slow moments that are very evocative. I highly recommend it to lovers of the alternative, American emo-rock genre. The cover is terrible... what a pity.
