A discography among the most chaotic I've ever come across, that of the American band. Chaotic to say the least comes to mind to write immediately! Just like their musical proposal: total chaos; out of control; without brakes; always full throttle. Take in equal measure the Punk of '77, the underground garage of the sixties, the vocal outrage of the Stooges and MC5. Mix the aforementioned substantial ingredients and you'll get the "out of their minds" sonic setup of the New Bomb Turks. Always precariously balanced, always on the edge of the precipice with such executive vehemence; never a calculated second in the songs. Push, push, and push at incendiary volume as happens in this collection released about twenty years ago, which has the merit of gathering (what a bothersome repetition!) singles, EPs, collaborations, covers, live tracks. For a total of 16 explosive shards. Dashing assaults for about 40 detonating minutes, with Eric's caustic voice dictating crazy, wild, animalistic rhythms. A guitar terribly out of tune from being so strident, forced, murderous. And to conclude, a disruptive rhythm section, which knows very few deviations: pounding hard, very hard. Poor technique and recordings, as it should be with these dirty sounds.

Seen live on a couple of occasions: the walls of the venues were put to the test by the four fanatics...EYES OF SATAN...

Ad Maiora.
