<A house with infinite rooms...
infinite fears...>>
Open parenthesis:
The ambient is, by definition, the type of music where the atmosphere created matters much more than the rhythm (often absent) and even the melody.
The album I am about to present to you can therefore be comfortably classified as ambient music, although this definition should be considered quite reductive in this particular case.
Close parenthesis.
"The House of Pain" essentially consists of a succession of cries, sobs, incomprehensible screams, agonizing wails, mourning, panic, anguish, infinite suffering, despair, and consequent loss of sanity.
I challenge everyone to enter, passing through the door that bears the word "play" above it, and, once you have passed through the corridor of unhappiness and arrived in the hall of hopelessness, take a look around.
Do it only if you really feel up for it: what you will see once inside is indeed capable of genuinely testing your psyche.
Open your ears and listen, as long as your nerves permit, until reason leaves you, until your brain is reduced to mush.
>
Once you have finished listening, you will not be the same again, I assure you.
Titles such as "Laments", "Psychic Doctrine" and "The House of Pain" (in my opinion the most significant tracks), although described in few words, are undoubtedly much more effective than my modest review in illustrating what your ears will communicate if only you have the courage to bring your ear close and hear but, above all, perceive.
Masterpiece here would only be an insult, gentlemen.
"In this house the pain!!!"
P.S.: If anyone should happen to survive such a frustrating experience, feel free to let me know, in a depressed comment below, what you think, assuming you are still capable of thinking.
