Nash the Slash, the leader of the band FM, is my mysterious musical idol from my teenage years.

The FM are a Canadian prog trio from the '70s with a particularly unique, mysterious, and theatrical leader on stage, Nash The Slash, a violinist who has reformed the group on other occasions but has mainly continued his prolific career as a solo artist.

Their music has always been very fascinating and strange to me, with a veil of mystery like the bandages he wore on stage, Nash The Slash the crazy violinist as I used to call him as a kid.

Once online about the FM album "Black Noise", I found these words: "Surely the Rush listened to this album many times when they changed their style after Moving Pictures, and precisely for this reason, you can imagine that Black Noise was a few years ahead of its time."

These were the first vinyl records I bought at 15 years old.
