Nargaroth
Prosatanica Shooting Angel

INTRODUCTION: this is my first real review and I hope to satisfy someone, even though I know I am a terrible reviewer.

2004, the release of the new, amazing, astonishing, immense and endless record by one of the greatest one-man bands ever known: Nargaroth, almost on par with the famous Burzum if not better (this, when Burzum was arrested and sentenced to the maximum penalty of 21 years in prison, but that’s another story). The first song, namely "Love Is Always Over With Ejaculation", is simply an intro to the album, so nothing special. The second, "Be Dead Or Satanic", is instead a great song, but with not so good a sound. Then comes "Satan Industries", a good song with a sound not much better than the second and not very sung, but absolutely not to be discarded.

It is followed by "Thinking Below The Oceans", a song not sung (I don't think the voice is those kinds of howls and creaks), with somewhat repetitive guitar riffs and not really a great song. Let's move on to number 5, namely "Black And Blasphemic Death Metal", with some terrifying growls. The only thing is that the drums are barely audible. The sixth, "A Tear In The Face Of Satan", is a bit like the fifth, with terrifying growls, but the drums are faint. The seventh, "The Dark Side Of Moon", a title that inspired me a lot (I don’t know about you), is actually an interlude (disappointment for me), nothing special really, with various noises (which, by the way, I did not even understand what they represent, but let's move on). Then "Hunting Season" comes, a beautiful song, but, as usual, with the almost nonexistent drums. Finally, there is "I Bring My Harvest Home", perhaps the best song of the album, where the drums are better heard (only at the beginning), and not much sung (sung only at the beginning).

In short, it is a veeeeeeery nice album, but it just lacks the drums, which are barely audible. Greetings to everyone and thank you for reading this review.
