Let me start by putting things straight: my goal is solely to recommend particular albums that have struck me and to try and intrigue the reader, so please bear with me if my reviews are not exceptional, as I do not aim to be a professional critic.

The album in question came into my hands through a DVD full of progressive music borrowed from a friend of mine. Doing a bit of research on the Internet, I discovered that the group is officially a duo composed of bassist Satoshi Kobayashi and flutist Kazumi Suzuki supported by two guitarists and a drummer. As you can guess from the names mentioned above, we are talking about Japanese musicians.

The best parts are delivered by the bass-flute duo: Satoshi seemed to me an excellent bassist, while Kazumi gives something different to the compositions with his flute because the rest of the group operates in a style I would describe as purely metal, often with powerful and heavy riffs. Personally, my favorite songs are the first one "Crisis" and the fifth "Shell".

I would particularly recommend it to those who love prog-metal and to those who want to listen to something different and somewhat original.
