THE REVIEW

Ferocity, rage, despair, but also hope, sweetness, and melancholy.

Conflicting emotions, distant yet often united in a desperate embrace.

The greatness of these two monolithic compositions lies in their ability to coexist with contrasting emotions.

In despair, there can always be a spark of hope.

In pain, the beauty of melancholy, sweet memories.

A drop of blood might also fall on the velvety petals of a rose.

Electric doom despair, with no way out, but slowly a small neoclassical group emerges. Strings and piano, slowly, don’t overpower but gently coexist with the electric blasts of guitar and bass.

They coexist. Like in life, conflicting emotions coexist; pain must coexist with joy. They never replace each other.

Perhaps this is the message, the sad truth.

Music that wasn’t conceived for easy listening. Music that might scare you and make you run away but believe me, with a little patience, you’ll find yourself before one of the most emotional sonic frescoes heard recently.
