Murray Lerner

Murray Lerner was an American documentary filmmaker renowned for music films spanning the Newport Folk Festival and the 1970 Isle of Wight Festival. He won the Academy Award for From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China and crafted definitive concert films of artists from Jimi Hendrix to Bob Dylan. Active from the 1950s through the 2010s.
