New, unleashed album for the Richmond thrashers.
Featuring a gruesome artwork by Andrei Bouzikov, bassist of Deadfall, the Municipal Waste hit the mark and capture the essence of the album, violent as usual.
The band indeed maintains its characteristic aggressive and fast sound, enriched by what I believe is more thought-out riffing and slightly more sophisticated songs than in their previous albums, such as track 6, "Relentless Threat", which, after an intro with a fantastic bass work and the usual Thrash outburst, flows into a Metallica-like instrumental interlude that is very unusual but appreciable. One begins to perceive a certain maturity in the band, especially technically. However, the usual sing-along choruses and Ryan Waste's breathtaking solos are not lacking, so the group remains faithful to its genre.
In short, the new release from Municipal Waste is an album of enjoyable Thrash fury, exactly what one expects from a group like this.
Good or bad? Who cares. Their music isn't meant for thinking but for making chaos and drinking.
I pray they come to play around here.
Municipal Waste is gonna fuck you up!
