Members include Richard Page (vocals, bass), Steve George (keyboards), Steve Farris (guitar) and Pat Mastellotto (drums). "Welcome To The Real World" (1985) yielded the US No.1 singles "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie". The group released Go On... (1987). A later album, Pull, was recorded but not released at the time and surfaced years later. Pat Mastellotto later joined King Crimson. Richard Page has songwriting credits for other artists, including co-writing Madonna's "I'll Remember".

DeBaser reviews praise Mr. Mister's musicianship and the two No.1 singles "Broken Wings" and "Kyrie" from Welcome To The Real World. Reviewers note strong performances (especially Richard Page and Steve Farris) but fault filler tracks. Go On... is judged well-made yet lacked a standout hit, contributing to the band's commercial decline.
