The Profile

Mr. Mister are an American pop-rock/AOR band featuring Richard Page (vocals, bass), Steve George (keyboards), Steve Farris (guitar), and Pat Mastelotto (drums). They scored two US No.1 singles, Broken Wings and Kyrie, from their 1985 album Welcome to the Real World. Go On... followed with less commercial impact, and their fourth album, Pull—recorded and shelved—was finally released in 2010. Mastelotto later joined King Crimson; Page wrote songs for major artists, including Madonna’s I’ll Remember.

Two US No.1 singles: Broken Wings and Kyrie. Broken Wings was presented at Sanremo 1986. Fourth album sessions involved Trevor Rabin; the album (Pull) was released in 2010 after being shelved. Pat Mastelotto later played with King Crimson. Richard Page declined offers to front Chicago and Toto and wrote Madonna’s I’ll Remember.

American pop-rock/AOR outfit with elite musicianship and two US No.1 singles, Broken Wings and Kyrie. Reviews praise craft but note inconsistency and a lack of enduring hits beyond the big singles. Go On... is defended as strong yet hitless; Pull finally surfaced in 2010. Post-band, Mastelotto joined King Crimson and Page wrote for major artists.
