“MoRtO” (’08, Supernatural Cat) is the final chapter of the trilogy that these three crazies have endeavored to make over the last three years. Lin, Lan, and Len descend once again onto this unhealthy planet to bring the message of Morkobot, “God of the galaxies, ruler of magnetic forces, and ancestral regulator of consciousness flows”.

If we wanted to give it a definition, it would almost seem like a classical music work (a suite in three parts for two basses, drums, and synths), but here you'll find your proper dose of free-form madness. “MoRtO” is the perfect mix between acid and basic, achieved by crushing, atomizing, and mixing in the most ruthless way possible the non-math-wankery Don Caballero, the noise from the Amphetamine Reptile of the Nineties, the drone of their fellow countrymen Ufomammut and Lento, to then send the final pulp into hyperspace with a pseudo-Hawkwindian spacecraft. They might even owe something to people like Neurosis for their continuous chiaroscuro game between Stillness and Fury; they have fun making our synapses levitate by pressing on the delay (the sounds in these moments are nothing more than metaphysical and faint echoes coming from another galaxy) just as much as they enjoy torturing our eardrums when the two basses seem sharper than a cleaver and the drums (the drumming is exceptional!) seem louder than a tank.

Experimentalists never for their own sake and anti-intellectualistic as we like them, they manage to sew all this auditory rabble in their now unmistakable post-everything-post-whatever without being pretentious but with a single precise goal, to draw in our little minds the brainwave of the astral entity of which they are only humble messengers, Morkobot, on his jaunts on Earth.

These three crazy guys also manage to provide us with a mysterious ending, thriller stuff. A cloud of synths gradually thinning out closes the last chapter of the trilogy under the sign of mystery… Space for interpretations! Is Morkobot really "MoRtO"?
