Reviewing the incredible emotional experience of Morgan's concert in Bari is a heart-stopper.
Starting from the premise that at the end of the concert, I met him, had the opportunity to get a picture with him, and discuss (for only 3 beautiful minutes) about the Live and other things. He even said I'm "Max Gazzè" without a mustache (bastard!!!).
As we were saying, Friday, April 16th in Bari, at the "Zenzero", a beautiful venue, not very big, but unique in Puglia. A very Post-Punk New Wave atmosphere, especially with the DJ set. Before Castoldi, there was a supporter: VegetableG. A duo from Bari, Synth-keyboards + guitar. Very nice but not much originality. At about 10:30 PM, Morgan appears with Megahearts (Synth, Drum Machine, Theremin & more) and Marco Carusino on guitar. Flowers scattered on the stage among the instruments (like Sanremo). Candelabra with candles and a very Vintage background (in gold yellow). A trio, therefore. A new tour with different arrangements. It kicks off with "Italian Violence" in great style.
Morgan is inspired. I'm in the second row and almost have tears in my eyes. Morgan dressed all in black, with a red scarf around his neck from which a crucifix emerges. They follow in an incredible whirlwind of emotions: "Sovrappensiero" (wonderful version), "The Baby, altrove" (now an anthem), "Crash", "Lontano lontano" (cover of Tenco), another cover le ragioni delle piogge, aria, non arrossire, se, l'assenzio, heaven in my cocktail (in an incredible cha-cha-cha version stretched out for a long time). Morgan showcases class and confidence between his bass, piano, and Hammond organ. Megahearts is exceptional with the theremin, even in flawlessly timed drum machine insertions. Marco Carusino on guitar is tidy and not at all showy.
