I listen to "Amore assurdo" (first track) and a disarming disappointment overwhelms me. The continuation of the first listen only worsens the situation. After over an hour of futile concentration, the light: "Contro me stesso" last track opens the doors of the album for me. "Da A Ad A" is a masterpiece album, at times incomprehensible but always tangible, the emotions are of fabric and color.
"La Cosa" and "Liebstoob" are probably the least successful pieces; the others, full of influences, but never lacking the imprint of our Marco, are, in my opinion, all of exceptional level, including "U-blue" and "Animali familiari" which constitute the color of the work despite ending with dark gray tones.
The lyrics are in most cases an authentic stream of consciousness spiced with quotes and allusions; the music is no less, even though there is evident research work behind it.
For lovers of Battiato and Pink Floyd, a pleasant surprise, undoubtedly neither the textual level of the former nor the compositional level of the latter, but equally undoubtedly a personal imprint that is feeling and fairy tale.
An incomplete gem, but perhaps for this reason even more of a gem.

In Morgan, the boundary between art and life, fiction and falsehood, is thin, like the boundary of a fractal set.
The music... is an accompaniment to this 'philosophical' mental status.
