THE REVIEW

I want to make just a reference to “When You’re Drifting” … … that's how my journey begins, and the journey of this Album, light and silent as a hot air balloon that travels through the infinite skies and fields of the soul, never stopping as if it wants to reach an unreachable point, but it's worth the journey for oneself at least once.

All the songs embody a sort of overwhelming and sensual sensitivity and have a linear base, meaning the search and hope for an important milestone in life, which satisfies one's being. The notes and instruments create this desire for cuddles, smiles, and warmth enclosed in a true and pure friendship, venting the repressed melancholy that lives in the continuous personal presence for others and in the hope that, sooner or later, someone will notice that you exist too.
The light and sweet voices tell their hidden tale, the fairy tale of every living being. And the journey of the hot air balloon continues in every track that flows inexorably through time, and describing them one by one is senseless, as the balloon doesn't want to stop, because it would lose the energy to reach its very specific goal.

Ten tracks so clean and pure, prompted in their path by the push of a warm wind that blows away malice and pain, because in this journey there is no evil, only love. It's an Album to hold in your hands, keeping it close to you, because the journey of our personal hot air balloon must never stop, but continue to fill our darkest and saddest moments with joy, ensuring the sun illuminates the path of its rainbow that one day, as far away as possible, exhausted yet happy and satisfied to have fully discovered the wonderful value of life, … .. will land on the horizon without regrets.
Instead of constantly dreaming about them, there are rare journeys in our lives that are only worth realizing while sitting in the basket of your colorful hot air balloon, to the rhythm of Mojave3 (whom I thank for existing), and all that you strongly desire in your heart, also because going back has never been possible.

I personally dedicate this review to a “Great Crumb” who has the rare gift of having a wonderful soul filled with sensitivity that travels in its own colorful hot air balloon.

Mojave 3

Mojave 3 are an English band formed in 1995 by former Slowdive members Neil Halstead, Rachel Goswell and Ian McCutcheon. Signed to 4AD, they released five studio albums from 1995 to 2006, evolving from hushed dream-pop/folk atmospheres to a brighter indie-pop tilt on Puzzles Like You.
