In the musical context, reunion refers to the gathering of the original formation of a group after it has disbanded, and that's what the Mötley Crüe have done, the historic '80s Glam band, who return with this Live more in shape than ever.
As soon as I saw it on the shelf, I was undecided whether to take it or leave it there, and convinced by the convenient price (16 euros) I bought it.
As soon as I listened to it, I was convinced that I made a good deal.
But let's start with the description of the Live.
The first disc is completely dedicated to the classics, such as "Shout At The Devil," which has the honor of opening the concert, "Too Fast For Love," "Wild Side," "Girls, Girls, Girls," "On With The Show" (better than the studio version, because it is enriched by an acoustic guitar section by Mick Mars). In short, I might as well say that the first disc is almost a compilation of tracks from the albums "Too Fast For Love", "Shout At The Devil" and "Girls, Girls, Girls", with the addition of "Louder Than Hell", which is instead from "Theatre Of Pain".
The second disc is more balanced in its repertoire. It opens with "Don't Go Away Mad" and continues with classics such as "Dr. Feelgood", "Kickstart My Heart", "Same Ol' Situation", "Home Sweet Home" and more recent tracks like "If I Die Tomorrow", then concludes with covers of "Helter Skelter" and "Anarchy In The U.K.".
Finally, I'd like to point out that the audience participates a lot, both in the choruses and in making a racket.
P.S.: in the discs, there are also the video versions of "Too Fast For Love" and "Dr. Feelgood".
P.P.S.: there is also a DVD, which has the same title.
