THE REVIEW

We are at the second release for Misery Index and I can announce that the CD is truly devastating!
Within this band, we find 2 former Dying Fetus members (3 members in total), but the sound is not exactly the same. In fact, the trio aims at a much more direct approach for the entire duration of the CD. No tempo changes, no search for new things, just death combined with grind-core to perfection. Compactness and dynamism.
The vocals are set very well, great guitar work, and I would say an excellent job by the drummer who manages to elevate all the songs of "Retaliate" with an exceptional performance, to say the least. The production highlights the drums more than the other instruments, and everything is very well recorded. An excellent album for all those who want immediate destruction and power without resorting to groups that are musically harder to understand. Unmissable.
