For me, the best album of 2005, despite the release of other excellent works like the latest by Dredg and Jesu.

Here we are faced with something truly innovative and original. Imagine a group of mad geniuses who manage to blend in the same album sounds belonging to two seemingly different groups like Tool and Aphex Twin. Download from the English group's website "The fall" and you'll understand what I mean: the first five minutes feel like you're listening to a new track by the great Tool, then suddenly a drum'n bass style beat kicks in that will leave you speechless until the end.

In general, the album is characterized by instrumental tracks where drum'n bass parts merge with post-rock and electronic parts like "Colloquial drug terminology" and "Apologetic Submissives" and tracks where the Tool influence is recognizable like "Autopia". But it's important to pay particular attention to the devastating "A message from our sponsors" (every time I hear it I can't help but hurt myself) and to "Sympathy for gordon comstock" which summarizes the genre these aliens have invented.

Finally, I recommend this record to anyone who is always looking for stimuli also because lately...
P.S.: remind me that it's my review so be human.
