THE REVIEW

Probably the best album by Millencolin, and this is almost obvious given the beauty of some of the tracks within it. In short, "Pennybridge Pioneers" can be considered one of the band's most extraordinary works. The songs that made the CD famous are undoubtedly the well-known "Fox" and "Penguins And Polarbears", but we must not forget the lively "No Cigar", "Devil Me", and "Pepper" or the fantastic "The Ballad", an acoustic song of great impact.

Overall, the album is excellent; all the songs are real hits, in my opinion, and they all deserve a good rating. The classic sound of Millencolin characterizes the entire CD, involving the listener and making them feel like part of the album. Undoubtedly, it's an album worth spending a little Euro on!!!!!!!!

This album effectively marks the start of their second career phase and abandons the powerful yet melodic hardcore sounds of the first three albums.

‘Pennybridge Pioneers’ is, in my opinion, perhaps the peak expression of the genre in the last ten years.
