After the successes achieved with that little gem of melodic punk known as "Pennybridge Pioneers," which had given them visibility and fame, Millencolin faces the moment of truth.

Taurus: Yes, it refers to the atmosphere among the band members and the fact that after many years, the band has become like a second home and a sort of family for them.
V: Have they managed to meet expectations?
T: Certainly, we're not facing another masterpiece of the genre, but "Home From Home" confirms the qualities of the group.
V: What changes, if any, did the fifth studio album by Millencolin bring?
T: The path taken by the group is only partially the same as its predecessor, rather it launches new and more interesting ideas like the approach to a more rocking sound as opposed to the past melodic hardcore.
V: What vibe does the CD convey, is it more carefree or sober?
T: Well, from this point of view, it's fair to say that this is where we find a bit of a break from their characteristic musical moods. There is a certain maturity in songwriting and expression. Naturally, without abandoning their cheerful punk spirit, but rather blending it all together.
V: Which are the most noteworthy tracks?
T: Undoubtedly, the beautiful "Fingers Crossed" typically hc style stands out and takes us back in time to the glory days. Certainly, of the new era (2000-2008) it is one of the best ever written.
V: And which tracks most reflect the new style?
T: The opener "Man Or Mouse" and the single "Kemp" clarify the coordinates of what can be defined as a move towards energetic and gritty rock 'n' roll à la Hives. Chant-along stadium choirs in the first, fiery guitar solos in the second.
V: I was crazy about the songs of the "Pioneers of Orebro," will there be other fun and carefree anthems to pogo to and sing at the top of my lungs?
T: Mark down "Botanic Mistress" with a catchy and contagious refrain and the very fast "Home From Home" featuring a special guest. And let's also include "Fuel To The Flame, why not.
V: Any missteps?
T: One, the disappointing and boring "Punk Rock Rebel"
V: What were the goals of the record?
T: To infuse classic punk rock structures with rock elements and spices to create a right mix, and it can be said this has been achieved.
Outro:
A must-have if you want to hear Millencolin slightly different from the previous releases of the group. Even though the masterpieces are elsewhere, this "Home From Home" seen as a process of artistic/musical evolution and maturation of Nikola Sarcevic & Co. demonstrates the band's health and does not disappoint expectations.

The combination of these components creates an album that... makes you nod your head from the first to the last minute.
