Formed in Melbourne in 2004. Debut album Dystopia released in 2007. Style blends electronic, sci‑fi pop, synth‑pop and dance; reviewer notes influences such as Giorgio Moroder and Depeche Mode and highlights the band's tendency to treat vocals as a complementary element to the overall sound.

DeBaser's review praises Midnight Juggernauts' 2007 debut Dystopia for its electronic, sci‑fi pop and danceable retro‑futuristic sound. The reviewer highlights tracks such as "Ending Of An Era", "Into The Galaxy", "Tombstone" and the title track "Dystopia". The album is described as versatile — suitable for dancing and dreaming.

For:Listeners of electronic, synth-pop and danceable alternative pop; fans of retro‑futuristic production and Giorgio Moroder/Depeche Mode influences.

My latest musical discovery comes from the beautiful Australia, the homeland of Sam Sparro and where the Bee Gees made their first steps; it's three guys originally from Melbourne, and their music can be defined as a sci-fi pop entirely centered on electronics, not unlike what another recent suggestion of mine, the American band Starfucker, offers, but a little less psychedelic and slightly more inclined to the dancefloor.
