LA RECENSIONE

The MICHELLE HUNZIKER 'gorgeous' and overwhelming, for at least 20 years, famous for the marriage, a daughter (the famous Aurora, title of a song from '95-'96), and the separation from Eros Ramazzotti due to a cult.

And it is the life spent in a cult that is the main topic of her autobiography 'An Apparently Perfect Life'.

With simple writing and a touching narrative, Hunziker recounts her childhood in a problematic family (with a cold-seeming and proud mother and a father who was characteristically and professionally unstable due to alcohol) in Switzerland, their divorce, her adolescence spent with her mother, her first steps in the entertainment world, the story with Eros into which is interwoven the encounter, through a friend agent, with Clelia, leader of a cult, a person in whom she would find a complete love she had been seeking until then.

A relationship that became increasingly tight and alienating, with the external world, and futile were the attempts of her mother and Eros to get her out until the separation from the singer.

With the arrival of a young man, Emanuele, who would share with Clelia the role of group leader, Michelle's life would descend into an ever deeper abyss until, due to some 'twists' and weaknesses that emerged in behaviors of leaders considered 'infallible', she would at some point leave the cult, but regaining well-being and identity, though with difficulty.

The happy ending of the story is her meeting and marriage with Tomaso Trussardi (and the birth of Sole and Celeste), a man with personal fragilities, but whose 'stability' of mind led Michelle to write that he is the perfect partner to balance her impulsive and impatient character.

A story that touched me, imagining it as I read as a movie or a drama for some Mediaset network, of which Michelle has been one of the most famous faces for years. A story that shows how in the entertainment world, there are quite a few who turn to religion or a cult for the most diverse reasons.

Everyone knows how superficial that world is...
