You don't have to go far or overseas to hear good jazz. And this CD by Michele Bozza is the proof. You realize it by listening and re-listening to it. It never tires you. Besides the great swing and sound, thanks to Ambrosetti's trumpet and Bozza's sax, there is more, especially in Along come Betty, a beautiful theme, but played masterfully in this discographic work. Nothing to envy of American jazzmen, indeed. It's strange that this artist, Michele Bozza, is known only to insiders and not to the general public.
