When music goes beyond our boundaries, it finds our emotions.

There are few words, or perhaps too many superlatives, to define this author, but Micah P. Hinson is simply a musical genius.

To understand how it is possible, at just 23 years old, to already be compared to the sacred monsters of songwriting worldwide, just open your mind, be patient, and listen to him.

Micah has created a work where the listener receives punches and caresses, dawn and dusk unite, gray transforms into a rainbow and vice versa, melancholy and hope chase each other, but even in the saddest moments, one can always find a light and a smile. A work halfway between that of Mark Oliver Everett and the Strings in "Live at Town Hall" and another American musical genius, the nineteen-year-old Zach Condon of "Gulag Orkestar," surrounding with guitars, brass, and strings galore.

And then with that voice... he could sing anything, because if Antony is the angel, Hinson is the devil, a good devil who takes us by the hand and helps us open our hearts, reflect, and feel emotions.

I've already used too many words. Regards, Addison.

My mouth opens too. Or rather, my jaw drops.

Micah has gotten into my guts and can squeeze them whenever he wants.
