I had faith in uncertain times,

that the upheavals would subside;

never was my prediction darker.

.

It was a time for pretending and bits of things,

Electric feelings, spectacle;

I accepted the congratulations.

.

Years passed, tensions calmed

and, forgetting the past, they return here

with a dark evening: a meatball.

.

Eighties sounds and foolish excitement,

heard with prejudices and malicious critique;

Is it time to recover that

new romanticism? But also not!

.

 "A great album, this ‘Little Dark Age’; a full relaunch of the American duo, and what English speakers would call a ‘return to form’ in every respect."

 "The album regains accessibility compared to the two previous tests, doesn’t get lost in experiments with no end in themselves, and can be listened to with disarming ease."
