LA RECENSIONE

The plaster has fallen. My kitchen has a hole. The assisted demolition of the apartment above the one I live in has led to the demolition of my kitchen ceiling.

_____Metz.

Metz is a city in Lorraine, disputed, sought after, desired by the Germans. Blanchard, not the one from Frosinone; Jocelyn. He was supposed to be the new Zidane, but all that's left of Zidane are headbutts against the wall; and the metz know well the headbutts on the wall.

__________Cavities.

I had two cavities and it wasn't painful. I had two more and dear God, the pain. A drill between the molars, a rubbing in the brain, ocular feedback. Mouth wide open, dryness. I drool like a rabid dog. Colorless mouthwash, bitter. Bitter like anesthesia.

_______________Duce.

The flags move with the wind. The guitars shake without percussion. Artificial harmonics. Alienation from conference, documentary film, guaranteed sleep. Baldness, pubic hair. Frenulum irritation.

___Pain.

______Strange peace.

Summary by Bot

This review paints Metz's Strange Peace as a visceral, intense noise rock album. The reviewer blends personal and physical discomfort metaphors to convey the raw energy and alienation within the music. Despite the abstract style, the album stands out as a powerful musical experience worth listening to.
