In 1999, a completely wild collaboration gave a shake to the world of Hip Hop. We're talking about Blackout! by Method Man and Redman, 16 tracks plus 3 bonuses, old-school Hip Hop that is missing nowadays.

(01) Intro - "The Special Joint" takes us into the world of Blackout! The two welcome us to a world beyond the clouds, beyond thoughts, with a hypnotic beat that will make us feel as if we had smoked it ourselves. (02) Blackout! - gives an overwhelming rush with its rhythmic beat, marked by the flow of the two in top form, a song that never gets tiring to listen to. (03) Mi Casa - the name says it all, the two bring us to mi casa where we do what we feel like, we smoke, we rap with friends. A song with a great rhythm, a nice intertwining of words as usual. (4) Y.O.U - one of the singles, with its basses, marked by bongos, very rhythmic and very pleasant to listen to. (5) 4 Seasons ft. Jarule and JJ Cole - one of the first features of the album with Jarule and JJ Cole, both in dazzling form, enchanting with their verses along with "Meth" and "Red" on this stunning track. (6) Cereal Killer - Very good beat, the two kill it as usual, simply Hip Hop Meth and Red (07) Da Rockwilder - the most famous single of the album, an epic beat, a charismatic song, a perfectly chosen single, personally listened to countless times.

(08) Tear it off - another nice single. Tear It Off is yet another confirmation of the great harmony between the two, two of the best MCs NYC can boast. (09) Where WE At (Skit) (10) 1,2,1,2 - simple title, very rhythmic beat, masterfully scratched, and as always, overwhelming lyrics, a must listen (11) - Maad Creews, nothing else to write :) (12) Run 4 Cover (ft. Ghostface and Street) another collaboration of the two this time with two from Wu Tang, because we've got RZA on the beat and Ghostface Killa on lyrics (enough said), and Street who, although not part of the Wu Tang, handles the beat well, giving us a well-composed verse. (13) (The?) (14) Dat's Dat Shit (featuring Mally G) another nice feature, the beat is amazing with its samples and its sweet rhythm, marked by the three MCs, Mally G opens the song followed by Meth and Red, the three blend their rhymes with the beat perfectly, the result is a bomb that moves any head, Dat's Dat Shit!!! (15) Cheka - an absolute must-hear song, with a catchy chorus, to listen to and listen to again. (16) Fire in a hole is darker compared to the rest of the album. Great three bonus tracks (17) Well all rite cha (18) Big Dogs and the single that launched them to the world as a Hip Hop duo, (19) How High

IN SHORT!!!... an excellent Hip Hop album, old school, by two great MCs, all great tracks, great flow, great lyrics, fantastic beats, I suggest you screw Emis, Fedez and these people, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and spend 10 euros on this masterpiece, it's worth it
