❝ Extraordinary film denouncing the American prison system and more generally - I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang - is a true anthem to freedom, a freedom that in reality does not exist.
❝ Although I don't find the plot "just a pretext" as the festival caption states, I must honestly admit that the musical sequences, particularly Remember My Forgotten Manwhich closes the feature film, outshine, in terms of quality, the story and the film itself.
