I thought my career as a reviewer would end with Picnic of Love by Anal Cunt, but after hearing this mixtape I decided to share my thoughts on what I consider a sybaritic masterpiece of our times.
Today I wanted to talk about "Più Figo di Cristoh Mixtape" by MC Pope Francis, who with this album proves to be the Italian rapper with the most flow of the year.
The album features 16 tracks in which MC Pope Francis Bergoglio shows himself to be an above-average rapper, capable of rapping over any genre, from rap to dubstep, from nu metal to pop, and you can listen to it for free here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjNkl3dH6YQ .
Let's start right off with a banger, SONO SEMPRE FATTO, the first single by MC Pope Francis, followed by PIU' FIGO DI CRISTOH, the song that gives the album its title.
This is certainly the hit of the CD, featuring Prof. Testoh and MC Silvio B. MC Pope shows us that the kids from the blocks are smashing it.
I won't tell you more because I might spoil your listening experience. Following is Figlio di Puttana, the first in a long series of disses (this one dedicated to Fedez).
The album continues with Sono Bello, Sono Sweg-O (Recorded during the recent meeting with President Obama), SORRIDO SEMPRE CIAO (second diss), and
Diprè per il rap, the third feature of the album, in this song together with MC Diprè and MC Giuseppe Simone. As we continue listening, we can hear
VIVO IN VATICANO and MUSICA DI CACCA, the third diss of the album, directed at Vacca and Fabri Fibra.
We continue with IO T O SMP AMATA, where MC Pope takes a small break from dissing to make a love dedication, only to come back more vicious than ever with MC Ruoppolo, sei ridicolo!, a diss aimed at MC Ruoppolo (A well-known rapper produced by Christian Ice), and NIENTE DI PERSONALE, a diss to President Napolitano (Produced by Habist).
The Swag continues with PIU' FIGO DI MADRE TERESA, and the disses continue with TI SPUTO NEGLI OKI (diss to Inoki), FATE SOLO BACCANO and RICORDA! MC Pope has something for everyone, from Gangsta Renzi to MC Grillo, from MC Brosio to KR Napolitano.
Finally, we can hear GANGSTA POPE, where MC Pope Francis addresses the international audience.
