Who doesn't know The Sims? A brand that has maintained consistent success over the years, kept alive by the numerous fans accumulated over time. After the innovative The Sims and its "perfection" The Sims 2 and its expansions, I must admit I would have hoped for an implementation of the major novelties from the expansions of 1 and 2 in the 3, while as usual, Electronic Arts (rightly) thought from a commercial perspective to "perfect" The Sims even more from a basic point and then release expansions that are in turn "perfected".

Oh, look at that, I can't create an entire city of my own, I'll have to settle on the basic one... Well, before we begin, let's go to Create a Sim, let's see how they've improved that! (Loading...) Oh my, how I missed this, I can start saying goodbye to my social life for at least a month! (Loading completed) Well, the graphics of the Sims seem to have stayed more or less the same and so do the various age groups, well yes, let's call the Sim Mr. Black and let's go check out the hairstyles a bit. WoW Awesome, like in every other chapter of the saga... The customization, although not reaching very high peaks, seems to have truly reached a good level, especially in clothes; I can decide the fabric patterns and even their colors... Then, as usual, I can personalize my character in the smallest details by choosing among the many available traits and set a goal in my virtual life... Well, fantastic! Let's add a bit of belly and... let's go!
Christ, as always, they give you just enough funds... Let's take this apartment, shall we! Wohwoh now I even have neighbors and I can see what they're doing without additional loadings! Well, I'll meet them later... Let's see the new objects a bit! Great, they kept the Jacuzzi, I can't wait to take a bath with the first one who comes along... The darts! The bass, the guitar, the drums, piano, keyboard, this time they've gone all out, I can't wait to start the Pink Floyd! Lots of beautiful artworks, objects divided by hierarchical scale... well as usual, well done Maxis! To tell the truth, one notices that the graphics have improved, even the interactions with objects and with others have improved but the Sims are still the same clumsy ones, christ, if there's a chair can't you get past it? Do I have to remove it? How annoying! And then I told you to go home because you needed to go to the bathroom, I get distracted for a moment and what do you do? You start playing! And then I just organized a party but the guests stopped on the ground floor to read a book instead of coming up to my apartment to celebrate! Oh well... When will they decide to put a brain in that pixelated skull? Cool though, this Indie music in the background!
In short, The Sims 3 is what you expect from a good sequel, technical department that, without overdoing it, is well updated to our time (considering that showing an entire city in real time is not easy) catalog and "Create a Sim" mode improved along with the interactions and everything else, although the actions of the Sims still result a bit stiff and unrealistic. It's a pity about the lack of implementation of some expansion elements, actually, to appreciate it the most, I advise you not to necessarily get all the expansions, but just a couple to "extend" your fun because, as in every The Sims game, after a couple of weeks you will end up abandoning it, but satisfied with the time spent on this great simulation video game without even regretting the social life taken away from us.
I trust (if there will be) in the sequel, it could become a masterpiece!
(It's my first review, have mercy!)
