Chapter I- Lady Sleep was kneeling before the mirror, with only a timid ray of sunlight filtering into the semi-cold room, Her completely naked body, of simple and mature beauty, was wrapped in a milk-white angora blanket like the color of her skin studded with chocolate-colored freckles

Chapter II- With a simple gesture she reached out to gently caress her long red hair and her face reflected in the mirror and with her fingers, she traced their outlines

Chapter III- Tears, like dewdrops, had already settled on the thin pink lips and her small nose seemed like a ball veiled in red

Chapter IV- The green eyes of Lady Sleep, large and gentle like those of a fawn, were shiny and wide open as if they wanted to whisper something to the soul and so sweetly she lowered her head and let herself slip onto the cold floor, closing her eyes to remember Her life

Chapter V- Images flowed in the mind like rivers in a flood

Chapter VI - Childhood, school, the first beats of love, shame, maturity, Her parents, Her siblings, the pains, the struggle, the hope and the desire to live each day more than before

Chapter VII - She recalled that so dark and gloomy day, the worst of Her life where the Church was full of people paying tribute to Her father and She didn't even know if She was alive, in fact, Her heart was unconsciously about to collapse

Chapter VIII - But Lady Sleep knew that life was all a test of survival and frankness and that she could count on Herself as always

Chapter IX - Now completely pervaded by memories that filled her heart, while the sun was preparing to set to welcome the silent and endless night full of bright stars, her body had become light as a feather, the smile had molded on Her face so delicate

Chapter X° However, there was still the ticking of the seconds' hands of a huge living clock called "time", which frightened her so much and so she raised her hands to her face as if to hide, but fortunately, she reacted because she was an important person for herself and for others and she knew she would no longer be afraid of the world of fools

Chapter XI - Finally night came, the room was dark but warm and the music box bid Her Good Night, Lady Sleep could fall asleep with the conviction that hope would live in the new day like a sacred gift giving her the strength to face it with serenity and devotion, living it for every second granted to Her.

Good night my sweet Lady Sleep....
