Long, ivory fingers weave threads as light as incense smoke.
Suddenly a voice, trembling, evanescent, to scream of an inexpressible pain.
This is the beginning of "Sorella Sconfitta" by Massimo Zamboni.
Then the emotion slowly fades, and the music and lyrics take us through blurred visions, painting intense emotions and whispering reflections of rare depth.

"Sorella Sconfitta" is an extraordinary work of beauty, where one can perceive, as in the past, if not even more intensely, the talent and genius of a guitarist like Massimo Zamboni.
Yet we can't listen to it. Why?
You listen to it the first time and immediately perceive the intensity, the emotion, the grace (also provided by the pleasant voices of Nada, Lalli, and Fiamma) but there's something else, something you don't want to hear again, that you can't listen to again.
Above all, for those who can listen, you can't help but hear one single voice, like an echo of madness: Giovanni Lindo Ferretti.

"Sorella Sconfitta" naturally and gracefully (much more than the P.G.R.) collects the heavy legacy of a group like C.S.I.: after listening to it, you understand how much of Massimo Zamboni there was in the group; his guitars were the true musical body supporting Giovanni's indescribable voice, and even in this work, they create musically impeccable and stunning pieces that recreate beloved emotions in the mind and color the air with enveloping atmospheres.
But as soon as the words enter this idyll, the emotion covers everything, you can't help but perceive in your soul the sound of a broken harmony that covers the music vibrating in the air.
And in the end, when silence remains, nothing is left of "Sorella Sconfitta" but a powerful, piercing ache in the heart.

To define defeat as a sister, to thank her, is at least a strange vision in this world that does not accept losers.

‘Miccia prende fuoco’ is a song that strikes straight to the heart... it becomes a splendid earworm, insinuating itself slowly but inevitably into your head.

Nada sang Miccia Prende Fuoco with the blackest and most scratchy voice one could desire.

They finally filled the void left in our hearts by the CSI.
