LA RECENSIONE

The legend that led to the birth & naming (or vice versa) of this duo is now well-known. The two are old friends, but at some point, they find themselves dealing with a girlfriend. Small problem: the girlfriend is the same girl for both. It's just that at first, they don't really know that the Marta they're talking about is the same girl. Does she... know, you think? It ends with punches between the two, then a moment of beneficial madness brings them to make the following decision (translation: revenge): one of them takes it upon himself to contact the Marta in question and summon her with an excuse to that place full of big pipes, where you can also sit to have a chat. The ending you can imagine... Marta sui tubi, indeed.

The first album, "Muscoli e Dei," was quite a surprise for me, fresh, original, sparkling, and even well-played! A total absence of percussion and bass, but the two, even live, put in energy, talent, and that right amount of theatricality. This second work of theirs sees the addition of a drummer, which doesn't always give the desired results… But there is poetry, there is taste and musical flair, there is that right window on the world that should never be missing. Well done, bravo, hat trick.
