A one-off collaboration between members of Colourbox and A R Kane, best known for the 1987 single "Pump Up the Volume", noted for its pioneering use of sampling in British house.

Their only record was released in 1987. MARRS is an acronym of the project members' names. "Pump Up the Volume" uses numerous samples (including Public Enemy and Ofra Haza) and was released in multiple formats/versions (lacquer for discos, 12-inch, remix, 7-inch derived from the remix, and CD-single).
