Mark Tremonti Sings Frank Sinatra

Musician

American guitarist and singer-songwriter; lead guitarist of Creed and Alter Bridge and leader of his solo band Tremonti.

The album Tremonti Sings Sinatra was created as a charitable project for the "Take a Chance For Charity" organization with proceeds donated to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). The project was inspired by Tremonti's daughter Stella. For the recordings, Tremonti contacted Mike Smith, Frank Sinatra's orchestra director, and enlisted seventeen surviving band members; sessions were completed during the pandemic with musicians recorded separately. The album comprises fourteen tracks including standards such as "My Way," "You Make Me Feel So Young," "Come Fly With Me," and "The Song Is You."

Mark Tremonti's Sinatra covers project is presented as a charitable, cross-genre album recorded with surviving members of Frank Sinatra's orchestra. The review praises Tremonti's vocal performance across a 14-track set of standards and highlights the project's charitable purpose and inventive production during the pandemic.

For:Fans of Mark Tremonti, fans of Frank Sinatra and traditional pop, listeners interested in cross-genre projects and charity albums.

“Tremonti Sings Sinatra” is much more than a cover album recorded by a fervent fan of the greatest American pop singer of the twentieth century.
