THE REVIEW

I didn't know the Mariposa, but now after this new double album, I can't wait to meet them in person! An ambitious work, judging by the endless list of guest musicians in the cheerful company, and fully successful; a lot of irons in the fire, many genres touched (my favorite songs are, in the first CD, "Che Caro Che E' Il Casello", which is a bit reminiscent of the early Paolo Conte from "La Fisarmonica di Stradella" and "Questa Sporca Vita", and in the second CD "Blob Non Si Tocca"), lots of energy, a desire to communicate, to seriously confront, not with the current ways of communication, whether you like it or not. I don't know if what I just wrote makes any sense, but it came out like that. It sounds so good... Speaking of playing: the Mariposa play them all, really everyone, see to believe the amazing package (Mussolini... Lenin!... Padre Pio!!! and, last but not least, "Him", Silvio...).

Recommended: to those who go over everything and everyone without limits, simply "armed" with artistic culture and sarcasm.
Not recommended: to the devotees of Padre Pio (and "Him").
