The new album by March is a blend of pop rock and much more, a mix of genres and sensations that gives life to something truly interesting. Lyrics and arrangements do not seem random at all, and “Safe & Unsound” is an album to listen to with great attention, to notice details that might previously have been elusive and insignificant. Among the best tracks, we can find “Hands,” slightly off the tracks of the overall sound of the album, but gifting the listener with a very pleasant sensation, leaving a smile on the faces of genre lovers. Every note in the album manages to find its rightful place with skill and rare meticulousness. What is expected now from the singer-songwriter is to find an even more intimate and personal dimension, to cement his name in bold letters in the Italian indie scene as well. In essence, an album full of facets and hints that should be grasped by many to better frame the character, the sound, and the album. An excellent musical melting pot that could inspire and conquer even the most cynical listeners.
