Mancini, under the guise of a janitor, must place a bomb inside the office of an executive on the top floor of a large building. However, the elevator he's traveling in gets stuck, and with him are two company employees. Outside, Mancini's accomplices might not be helping him as they should...

Noir by the Manetti Bros. shot with a meager budget (it's said to be 70,000 euros, very little even for a small production), which boasts a screenplay that is anything but trivial, well-thought-out in details and characterizations (also thanks to the flashbacks). A small domestic independent film that would have deserved better fortune, referencing, not even too subtly, American genre cinema (the first Tarantino comes to mind) and the TV series "24", regarding the (almost) real-time unfolding of the story. When these products are made, I personally believe that even the most obvious flaws (the programming of the bomb, the time that passes too quickly from afternoon to evening, etc.) are marginal compared to the final result and the journey the film takes, especially considering how much more it could have offered if some film company had spent money to produce it. It's a pity that some Hollywood company didn't make a remake, never as necessary as in this case (compared to many unnecessary ones that are produced). Perhaps "Piano 17" is the best film by the Manetti Bros.

Very good cast with many of the protagonists from "L'Ispettore Coliandro". Cameos by Valerio Mastandrea and Massimo Ghini. Excellent driving soundtrack by the duo "Pivio e Aldo De Scalzi".

Fortunately, there are the Manetti Bros., capable of spanning different genres in an Italian context, which lacks digressions that aren't comedies with Bisio and dramas with Favino. Courageous in filming with little funding and persisting in a difficult reality, after years of apprenticeship between cinema and TV, their most ambitious and expensive project, "Diabolik", will be released soon. They deserve this opportunity.
